"My mission with Hippotherapy began in 1996, with the opening of our Região Oceânica centre, located in Niteroi, Rio de Janeiro, following my graduation in physiotherapy at the Helena Antipoff Higher School of Education.
Since then I have started a awareness and advertising campaign of this important work and through the publication of four scientific technicals books approaching the wider variety of this method, at present I am the only Brazilian researcher to develop this research with international scope.
In many internationals and nationals congresses this subject was discussed and eventually after eight years we conquered the inclusion of Hippoherapy as a curricular subject, taught in the final semester of the Physiotherapy Course, where I am a lecturer, at Salgado de Oliveira University-Universo, which it is located in five different estates of Brazil."
